About DUCF

The Detroit Urban Craft Fair (DUCF) is Michigan’s oldest and largest indie craft fair! Now in its 21st year, DUCF is an annual two-day spectacular at Detroit’s legendary and historic Masonic Temple featuring more than 100 of Michigan and the Midwest’s most talented indie makers and artists.

This year’s fair will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 11-7, and Sunday, December 6th, from 11-6 at The Masonic Temple (500 Temple St. in Midtown, Detroit). Admission is $5, and children 12 and under are free after 1pm each day.

Starting in 2026, DUCF is proudly presented by City Bird, a Detroit small business owned by siblings Emily and Andy Linn. City Bird has been championing and fostering Michigan makers and brands in their retail store on Canfield Street in Midtown, Detroit since 2009.

The world's largest Masonic Temple—Detroit's Masonic Temple—home to the Detroit Urban Craft Fair, and many of Detroit's best concerts and events!

From its inaugural fair in 2005 to today, City Bird has been part of the DUCF community, as a vendor and sponsor, and are now honored to continue the tradition of this beloved event. Founded by Bethany Nixon of ReWare Vintage, Carey Gustafson of Glass Action, and their collective Handmade Detroit, DUCF remains one of Detroit's most anticipated annual celebrations of independent makers.

For more than two decades, City Bird has connected artists, makers, and customers while strengthening Detroit's creative economy through thoughtful retail, community partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to independent makers and design. The opportunity to steward DUCF is a natural extension of that mission, creating new opportunities to celebrate and support the region's vibrant creative community.
